I must commend the team of the IFRC for these wonderful strategy to ensure 100% voluntary blood donation and also to achieve the Millenium Development Goals.
I always say to NIGERIAN club25 members that club25 aside blood donation, club25 also plays an important role to play in the achieving the Millenium Development Goals.
This is because with voluntary blood donation we will be able to tackle some the MGDs such as (4th goal,reduction of child mortality, 5th goal, improve maternal health, 6th, combat HIV/AIDS with respect to blood donation and finally the issue of global partnership and all these i believe club25 will and can eventually deliver.
